Chainbridge Solutions Inc. is seeking a qualified Scrum Master with a passion for Agile Application Life Cycle Development to join our federal project development team.

As a Scrum Master you will advise and lead scrum teams on Agile values and principles to ensure the teams are functional, productive and can meet their overall objectives. You will build relationships to encourage collaboration, transparency, and innovation across multiple cross-functional software development Scrum teams. You will support the work of the teams by facilitating agile events and ceremonies.

As Scrum Master, you will create and manage agile release plans to ensure successful and on-time delivery of application suites. The Scrum Master will facilitate coordination across product owners, development teams, and senior leadership to drive the successful execution of the release strategy.

The Scrum Master will provide ongoing support through coaching and facilitation to ensure compliance with agile principles while meeting the project timelines and objectives. As a Scrum Master, you play a key role in the definition, development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of agile practices (with an emphasis on Scrum) within the organization. Experience supporting Federal software development efforts is a requirement for a successful candidate.


  • Lead and facilitate Scrum meetings including Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives for a large development team.
  • Perform the role of Scrum Master for one or more teams, leading multiple, simultaneous initiatives of complex programs.
  • Assist the Product Owner in their efforts to manage the backlog and guide the team while facilitating a healthy team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope.
  • Track and communicate team velocity, sprint and backlog burndown, and sprint/release progress.
  • Guides and coaches scrum teams on how to implement Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Develop and maintain a regular cadence with the teams to adhere to best practices, policies, and guidelines.
  • Work with the product owner and development team to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the identification of efficiencies and optimization of WIP, upcoming work, and escalation of blockers.
  • Initiate and foster collaborative partnerships through training and coaching to develop relationships that support organizational agility.
  • Facilitate release coordination across multiple teams which are part of a release.
  • Keep the Project Manager informed of release status through daily communication.
  • Work as an effective team member and take on various team responsibilities as needed to achieve the team’s goals.

Required Qualifications

Experience supporting Federal software development efforts.

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
  • In-depth knowledge of the Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience managing the complete software development life cycle to deliver quality software to the customer’s expectation of success.
  • 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, leading and directing software teams.
  • Must regularly support a client based on the East Cost between the hours of 9am -5pm EST which includes standard meeting availability.
  • Experience on projects managing multiple scrum teams.
  • Experience in directing the work and tasking of software engineering professionals.
  • Proven track record of learning new concepts/skills independently to support team/organization goals.
  • Proven leadership skills to guide and mentor team members.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and consensus building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and support distributed teams.
  • Proven relationship-building skills.
  • Background Investigation (Tier 4 Investigation) will be conducted.
  • US Citizenship required.
