Project Manager

The Project Manager plans, schedules, monitors, evaluates and directs IT projects to ensure the complete solution is implemented. The Project Manager is also the primary customer point of contact for all technical issues and is responsible to direct and manage the project team with respect to both the technical and financial requirements of the project.   The Project Manager develops and manages the project’s change control procedures and effectively utilizes all available methodologies and tools, culminating in client acceptance of results.  The Project Manager conducts project progress reviews with client and account team personnel, providing contingency and problem resolution plans as required. 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Effective Project Start-up to include planning, internal kick-off and customer kick-off meeting
  • Develops internal project management plan to include goals and objectives, client requirements, resource requirement, budget, project risks, impacts and effective mitigation strategies
  • Coordinates and communicates with customer to develop Project Management Plan, which includes Customer Contract, Statement of Work, Team / Resource Plan, Deliverables Schedule, Communication Plan and other project documentation
  • Manages complex team projects, communicates project status, obtains sign-off/authority, administers contract terms with client, establishes and maintains project information system
  • Responsible for all financial tracking and delivery of project specifications (on-time, within budget, within expectations)
  • Manages schedule and associated deliverables from the Delivery teams (Dev, QE, SA)
  • Performs project status reviews
  • Ensures project services and deliverables are met

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-10 years of experience in Information Technology Projects (or equivalent)
  • Consulting experience
  • Experience with project management and leading consultancy organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with experience communicating directly with customers in high-pressure environments
  • Experience with standard Project Tools and Templates

Preferred Requirements

  • PMI – Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification
