ServiceNow Developer

As a ServiceNow Software Developer, you’ll be responsible for development of high-performance, customer-specific web-based applications for Case Management and Business Process Management solutions.  Our software developers work within a team, collaborating with other developers and analysts to design and develop business applications that support mission critical customer needs.

Our software developers are innovative thinkers who can solve technical challenges with creativity and perseverance. They are experienced with full life cycle Java development, have a deep understanding of JavaScript and a strong knowledge of SQL. Our developers are comfortable working hand in hand with the systems stakeholders in an Agile environment with frequent and rapid sprints.

Key Areas of Responsibility 

  • Delivers high-quality software that will impress and astound our customers
  • Consistently applies fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications
  • Works as part of a fast-paced team to perform object-oriented application development using ServiceNow as the foundation
  • Analyzes functional requirements and troubleshoot application code issues utilizing a variety of tools and technologies
  • Works closely with other developers and quality assurance engineers to create fixes and enhancements to applications
  • Implements fixes to existing code/system to comply with Section 508 accessibility
  • Communicates technical and non-technical information clearly, answers technical questions from customers, and is able to provide efficient technical solutions to problems
  • Writes technical documentation as directed by Chainbridge Solutions standards and methodology

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (relevant years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • Experience developing and deploying ServiceNow scoped applications
  • Knowledge of the following languages: HTML, CSS, Java, Java Script, and Angular JS
  • 5+ years of experience with the following:
  • SQL (Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server) and performance tuning
  • ServiceNow Studio
  • ServiceNow JavaScript API
  • Glide Record
  • ServiceNow HR Module
  • Other parts of the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience with engineering, development, deployment, and maintenance of business-critical systems
  • Competent to work in all phases of applications programming and design

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Developer
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with Big Data
  • Experience with Section 508 Compliance
