FAIRFAX, Va. – Chainbridge Solutions is proud to announce it has been selected as a finalist for the 16th Annual Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) Awards. Chainbridge is a finalist for the Government Project of the Year award, which recognizes companies delivering exemplary programs with significant value to the federal government. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
Chainbridge Solutions’ nominated project, JSTARS NextGen, was the first application modernization effort within the Justice Management Division (JMD) of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to be deployed to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The solution supports over 40 organizations and agencies across the federal government and enables a streamlined, secure, and future-ready solution for the Department. As the Federal Government quickly moves toward Trusted Workforce 2.0, this implementation serves as the first wave of Trusted Workforce changes and sets the standard for future application modernizations at JMD.
Founder and CEO Aarti Smith shared, “As a company founded on the premise of security and eliminating risk across organizations, we couldn’t be prouder to be supporting the Department of Justice in their mission to uphold the rule of law, to keep our country safe and to protect civil rights. We look forward to continuing to partner with the DOJ and federal government to enable smart, modern solutions that challenge the status quo and help agencies reimagine the way they work.”
This modernization effort is a significant project in that it facilitates the vetting of the entire population of government employees and contractors across Justice – reaching over 150,000 people. Bethany Keplinger, Director of Platform Solutions at Chainbridge Solutions who served as Program Manager for the implementation, shared, “It is an honor to be recognized for our role in driving innovation and mission success. Our collaboration with government organizations and agencies resulted in a transformative solution, ushering in a new era of workforce security and efficiency for DOJ. This achievement speaks volumes about the dedication and expertise of our team. We are grateful to SECAF for this nomination!”
