Chainbridge Solutions Founder and CEO Aarti Smith joined Lindy Kyzer on ClearanceJobs’ Security Clearance Insecurity podcast to discuss what agencies need to make Trusted Workforce 2.0 work in practice.
Trusted Workforce 2.0 gives agencies a more current view of workforce risk as Continuous Vetting Action Reports arrive throughout an individual’s federal service. When subject CVARs and other critical information resides across multiple, disparate systems, adjudicators must do the manual work of assembling the record before they can fully understand the risk and assess its impact.
“Continuous vetting changes the operating model for Personnel Security because risk develops over time,” said Smith. “Agency systems must place each alert within the full case record while the information is still actionable.”
Smith described the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s move toward shared services as a foundation for better access to vetting data. The next step is integration. APIs can bring that information into agency workflows and reduce manual retrieval.
