Stephen Bailey is the Chief Technology Officer at Chainbridge Solutions, bringing over 25 years of experience in the Federal IT sector and leading high-performing technical teams. In his role, Stephen drives Chainbridge’s technical strategy and leads the Chainbridge Innovation Group (CIG), a dedicated team formed to support customer missions, enhance efficiency, and create value for our clients.
Stephen is responsible for aligning CIG’s direction and focus areas to the Chainbridge Solutions strategic plan and direction. He identifies high-impact talent within the company who can contribute to these objectives and share their passion with others. Finally, Stephen’s team supports technical solutioning across the company when specialized expertise is needed.
Before being named Chief Technology Officer, he served as Chainbridge’s Vice President of Solution Delivery, where he managed teams developing technical solutions, integrating new technologies, and improving customer satisfaction for Federal and Defense sector clients. Since joining Chainbridge, Stephen has played a key role in growing the company’s capabilities, capturing new business, and implementing best practices across the organization that enhanced project and back-office functions.
Previously, Stephen was the Director for the IT Services Division at Serco North America, overseeing a portfolio of IT services contracts and leading Serco’s successful pursuit of an ISO 20000 certification within five months of initiation and under budget. He has also previously served in project manager roles at SI International, Zen Technology, and LABAT-ANDERSON.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the College of William & Mary and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
