David Freitag serves as the Senior Solutions Architect at Chainbridge Solutions and is a member of the Chainbridge Innovation Group. With over 30 years of expertise in software development, cloud, DevSecOps, and agile methodologies, he plays a key role in shaping the company’s technical strategy and leads the cloud team. He also supports research on emerging technologies, in the areas of web applications, microservices, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
David is passionate about helping our teams work faster, smarter, and more efficiently. Since joining Chainbridge Solutions in 2022, David has designed and developed a product using a microservice architecture, incorporating the latest technologies and leveraging AWS services, based on his research into emerging technological trends. He has re-architected development environments to adopt infrastructure as code using Terraform and implemented advanced DevSecOps pipelines leveraging AWS services, including AWS CodeBuild, AWS ECR, and AWS Lambda. His efforts have also included designing technical approaches for logistics solutions, modernizing hybrid cloud environments, and ensuring seamless operational support for government clients.
Previously, David held senior technical roles at World Services LLC, CSRA (now part of General Dynamics), and CSC, where he implemented secure cloud-hosted microservices, modernized hybrid infrastructures, and managed DevOps frameworks supporting federal operations. Earlier in his career, David contributed to enterprise IT projects at DrFirst, Agilex, and Raytheon, leading Agile development initiatives and delivering solutions for complex commercial and federal programs.
David earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. His certifications include Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
