Monica Janik is the Director of Human Resources for Chainbridge Solutions, bringing over 15 years of experience in talent management, HR policies and practices, and employee engagement. In her role, she leads HR operations, spanning benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
Monica is passionate about treating all employees, from entry level to executive, as valued customers and strives to continually make improvements that will both attract and retain the best talent. Since joining Chainbridge Solutions in 2022, she has helped implement benefits, policies, procedures, and programs to support the organization as it doubled in headcount. She is committed to ensuring a safe and collaborative environment that fosters communication, encourages autonomy, and lays the foundation for a successful and fulfilling employee experience.
Previously, she served as Director of Human Resources at Phase2 Technology, where she successfully implemented HR strategies to support organizational growth. Her career also includes HR roles at Serco, Salient Federal Solutions, Citizant, and Gategourmet.
Monica holds a Master of Science in Personnel and Human Resources Development from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Niagara University. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by HRCI and holds a Certificate in Human Resource Management from George Mason University. She also participated in the SHRM Mentor HR Leadership Development Program.
Outside of work, Monica belongs to the Washington Area Talent Rewards Association (WATRA) and volunteers with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Mentor HR Program, a mentorship initiative that pairs experienced HR professionals with aspiring individuals seeking to advance their careers in the field. Monica also enjoys running, outdoor activities, and traveling with her family.
