Chainbridge Solutions is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead proposal development in response to Federal government opportunities. As Proposal Manager you will work closely with our Business Development Team and Senior Leadership to ensure a successful and timely proposal delivery response to potential customers. Your work will play a key role in continuing the growth of Chainbridge Solutions by further expanding our reach with existing clients and building opportunities with new clients.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and facilitate the proposal process to include but not limited to the following tasks: proposal kickoff, compliance matrix, proposal templates, writer instructions, color reviews, competitive analysis, tailoring past performance references, tailoring resumes, coordinating the creation of graphics with the Marketing team, and completing a pricing volume narrative in collaboration with Senior Leadership.
- Develop proposal content including editing and polishing other writers’ content.
- Collaborate with the sales and capture leads prior to RFP release in preparation for proposal development.
- Participate in sales pipeline and specific opportunity reviews.
- Support market and opportunity-specific research and analysis.
- Write RFI responses, white papers, and create pre-RFP customer presentations.
- Lead and organize the collection of questions for government procurement Q/A.
- Work with Marketing team to tailor capability slicks or other collateral during capture stage.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in proposal development and management within the Federal government domain. Previous leadership role in proposal development is a plus.
- Knowledge of Federal government buying regulations, policies, procedures patterns, preferred contract vehicles, price constraints, and other criteria relevant to targeted markets expansion.
- Working knowledge of the Shipley Proposal Process, tailored to Federal government IT services and solutions delivery company.
- Extensive experience using Microsoft Office 365 including SharePoint.
- Experience using sales management tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (English, Marketing, Business, etc.)
- US Citizenship
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
