Chainbridge Solutions has an immediate need for a IT Portfolio Management Analyst who will support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at a Federal agency. Our IT Portfolio Management Analyst will support the Investment and Acquisitions Management Team (IAMT) and Enterprise Architecture (EA) program offices in an effort to achieve significant efficiencies in the management of the department’s IT portfolio. This effort includes IT portfolio management, IT governance support, business process review and documentation, strategic planning, budget planning and reporting activities. The position is fully remote.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support a Federal client with minimal oversight
- Gather business process requirements and produce quality documentation
- Synthesize large data sets into useful summary tables, charts, and graphics for OCIO and agency leadership
- Support and coordinate data calls and documentation update activities required for the maintenance of a technology portfolio deliverable
- Perform capital planning and investment control (CPIC) activities, including analyzing major IT business cases
- Communicate with stakeholders in preparation for IT governance meetings. Assist in the preparation and facilitation of governance meetings. Document meeting minutes and follow-up on action items as needed.
- Perform technology market research as needed, analyzing and presenting research results in a variety of formats
- Provide superior writing, editing, and formatting support
Position Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- 3 or more years’ experience with IT portfolio management or enterprise business process management.
- Experience supporting IT governance activities
- Federal consulting experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Experience with MS SharePoint
- Ability to support multiple tasks simultaneously
- Capital planning and investment control (CPIC) experience desired, but not required
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
